Advice to Those of You Who Traveled in Indonesia in the Month of Ramadan

On June 6, 2016 AD that coincided with the 1st of Ramadan 1437 Hijri. Indonesian Muslim community will welcome the month of Ramadan. One month they will fast from sunrise to sunset. After that it will celebrate the feast of Idhul Fitr.
To honor those who fasted some stalls will be closed during the day. Although some are still open with a cloth covered in order to give the impression closed. Some other interesting things during Ramadan is the Ramadan Bazaar is open just before Maghrib (sunset). There will be some food and drink vendors typical Ramadan.
If you are a traveler who traveled in Indonesia, and coincides with Ramadan, it helps you do some things, such as:
1. If you are not Muslim, you should not eat or drink outside or on the road. Better find the place closed and away from the crowds. This is to honor those who fasted.
2. If you want to find entertainment, the right time is at dusk. Some places of entertainment or places to eat open in the afternoon. or if you are interested, maybe you can stop by the Ramadan bazaar to enjoy a typical dish of Ramadan.
3. If you are a Muslim, do not worry about breaking the fast. There are few places like mosques, shopping malls, gas stations or on pavements provide dates or other snacks for iftar free. Surely a free meal if indeed the words "free".
4. If you are staying or living in the township. Do not be surprised if the hours of 2 am heard the noise of the instrument. This is a community cultural waking people for sahur immediately. Sahur eating and drinking is done in preparation for fasting. Some television shows also give the impression at meal time
